7th Global Conference on Women’s Studies
				The 7th Global Conference on Women’s Studies was held from July 25-27, 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark, encompassing a diverse array of sessions, both in person at the venue and virtually. The conference served as a platform for international collaboration and knowledge sharing on important issues related to women’s studies.
The 6th WOMENSCONF attracted speakers and listeners from over 40 countries, including Australia, Algeria, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, China, Colombia, Estonia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Lithuania, Mali, Malaysia, Montenegro, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Philippines, Portugal, Russian Federation, South Africa, Spain Sudan, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam.
The conference featured 70 presentations covering a wide spectrum of topics related to women’s studies, attracting an audience of more than 20 listeners.
6th WOMENSCONF comprised specialized Sessions in various areas of women’s studies such as Women in the Workplace and Leadership, Gender, Representation, and Identity, Feminism, Art, and Activism, Gender, Health, and Sexuality, Global Issues and Intersectionality, Technology and Gender, Gender and Education, and Gender and Work, with numerous papers presented in each category.
The distinguished University Professor, Dr. Judith Balatonyi, delivered a Keynote Presentation on Marriage Research from a Male and Female Perspective. The conference also owes a debt of gratitude to the Session Chairs, Dr. Jennifer Bone, Dr. Carolina Gallo Garcia, and Dr. Nihaya Daoud, whose contributions were instrumental in ensuring its success.
During the Film Screening session, the influential film “Duma” was screened, followed by a Q&A session with the director, Dr. Abeer Zeibak Haddad. Online attendees were also provided with a link to watch the full film from the comfort of their own homes.
On the second day of the conference, participants had the opportunity to explore Copenhagen through a City Tour guided by two local guides.
